Patriotic Candles

I just made these chunky patriotic candleholders that I saw in the July issue of Country Sampler Magazine on page 69. The instructions are also on that page. My hubby did all the sawing and drilling. I just love the rustic feel to these.🤗

Fall is Coming.🍁

Good morning. As I write this it’s a very cool September morning and I think we are beginning to feel the switch into fall. I do love fall. I love the colors, the comfort food, watching football games, pumpkin picking and decorating for fall.🍁
Here are some of my favorite fall photos.

Summer in New England

It’s been a long time since I’ve made a blog post. Yikes!  I hope you all are having a wonderful summer. 🤗 Sometimes it’s easier to make a quick post either on FB or Instagram. I’ll definitely try to keep this blog more active.👌
Blessings, Bonnie

Stars and Stripes

Memorial Day weekend is almost here, YAY!, so the stars and stripes have come out for the summer. Even though summer isn't for another month, Memorial Day weekend always seems to be the unofficial kickoff to my favorite season. So, I'm happy to celebrate it with a little bit of Americana!

Spring in New England

As I write this on April, 15th, it's a very chilly 31 degrees and lightly snowing...YES it's snowing!
It's been a long winter and I hope Mother Nature gets the memo that it's actually spring!
Anyway, even if the weather doesn't feel like spring outside, I'm keeping it springy on the inside!

“It's spring fever. That is what the name of it is. And when you've got it, you want—oh, you don't quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so!”
- Mark Twain

Christmas Time is Here!

Finding the real joy of Christmas comes not in the hurrying and the scurrying to get more done, nor is it found in the purchasing of gifts. We find real joy when we make the Savior the focus of the season. ~Thomas S. Monson

It's been a while since I last blogged on here. Time has a way of catching up with us. I thought since it's my favorite time of the year I'd make a picture blog post. Today is the perfect day for it. Last night it snowed about 5 inches, the woodstove is on, and I'm sitting by the Christmas tree. I'm feeling very cozy.
I hope you enjoy my photos.
